What are they going to do without me?

Ron is sleeping. Thankfully, he doesn’t snore. Neither do I which is good. How unrefined would that be?

The bed is nice and firm.

The bed is moving. I can hear sloshing. What is this? Some kind of boat?

A snore.

Beside me.

I move my reluctant hand and touch the arm. It is thicker than Ron’s. And hairier. But it doesn’t look like Tony’s arm either.

A sound at the door. I look up. There is a man staring at us from the doorway. Pale washed-out eyes. Or is it the light coming in the window that makes them look like frost on glass?
